1-FEELING TIRED-Your thyroid hormone levels control energy balance
2-GAINING WEIGHT-If your thyroid hormone levels are low, your BMR (basal metabolic rate) decreases
3-FEELING COLD-A decrease in BMR=less generation of heat, and more sensitivity to cold
4-WEAKNESS & ACHES IN MUSCLES & JOINTS-Low thyroid hormones=catabolism of proteins. During catabolism, muscle strength decreases, leading to feelings of weakness and aching
